Three-Phase Meter Boards

Balanced supply for commercial and light industry

Three-phase meter boards meter a 415 V supply and distribute it across balanced outgoing ways for commercial buildings, workshops and light industrial units. NPE arranges the metering, main incomer and distribution in one coordinated assembly.

The board carries the metering compartment, a main switch-disconnector or MCCB incomer, and outgoing MCB/MCCB ways balanced across the three phases, with neutral and earth bars sized for the load.

24/7 Emergency Support

Electrical service you can count on

When three-phase meter board equipment fails, you need fast, reliable help from experienced engineers. We offer around-the-clock emergency support across Nairobi and East Africa — keeping your plant safe and powered, day or night. Whether it is an urgent breakdown or a scheduled repair, our team is ready to respond whenever you need us.

Cost and Estimates

What drives the cost

415 V direct metering

Sealed three-phase metering compartment arranged for a direct KPLC connection up to the CT threshold.

Main incomer

Switch-disconnector or MCCB incomer sized to the connected load with adjustable protection where required.

Balanced distribution

Outgoing ways balanced across phases to minimise neutral current and voltage imbalance.

Room for growth

Spare ways and busbar capacity specified so future circuits do not need a new board.

Frequently asked questions

When do I move to CT metering?
Above roughly 100 A per phase a CT metering chamber is required; below that a direct three-phase meter board is used.
How is phase balance handled?
We distribute outgoing ways across the three phases from your load schedule to keep the neutral current and imbalance low.
Can it feed sub-boards?
Yes, outgoing MCCB ways can feed sub-main distribution boards elsewhere in the building.
What enclosure form?
Form 2 to Form 4 by maintainability and segregation needs; we advise based on who maintains the board.
