NPE has been engineering Kenya’s low-voltage infrastructure since 1974. If you want to learn switchgear properly — design, assembly, testing and service, all under one roof — there are few better places in the region to do it.

• ✓Apprentices and graduate trainees ready to learn from the workshop floor up

What working here looks like

You will work on real projects from week one: distribution boards, motor control centres, power factor correction and generator controls for hospitals, factories, data centres and commercial buildings. Senior engineers supervise and teach — our apprenticeship intake is a fixture of the NPE calendar, and the standard you learn is IEC 61439, not habit.
