How many fittings do I need?
From the target lux, the area and the fitting output, adjusted by utilisation and maintenance factors. The calculator on this page estimates it.
What lux level is right?
By task — roughly 150–300 lux general, 300–500 office, 500+ detailed work. We advise from the space and activity.
LED vs conventional?
LED gives higher efficacy, longer life and better control; it is the default for new and retrofit installations.
Do I need emergency lighting?
Escape routes and assembly areas require it; we coordinate maintained or non-maintained fittings with the scheme.
