Who we are

Nairobi Power Engineers Ltd is a 100% Kenyan owned and operated electrical engineering company, established in 1974 and based at 27 Baricho Road in Nairobi’s Industrial Area. For over fifty years we have specialised in motor control, power distribution and automation — supplying components, building custom switchboards and supporting them in service across Kenya and East Africa.

What we do

We are more than a component supplier. NPE sources quality products from leading global manufacturers and engineers them into fit-for-purpose solutions: main and sub-main distribution boards, motor control centres, power factor correction, transfer and generator panels, and the wholesale and retail supply that keeps installations running. Design, assembly, quality control and after-sales support all happen in our own Nairobi workshop.
