Building-load switching
Building loads require the relevant switching-duty rating. Main-contact arrangement and control supply must match the circuit. Confirm enclosure temperature and any manufacturer spacing requirements when several devices are mounted together.
Typical applications: Lighting, heating, ventilation and other scheduled building services.

Can I substitute a four-pole device directly?
Not from pole count alone. Confirm the circuit duty, neutral arrangement, dimensions, terminals, control supply and relevant protective characteristics. Four-pole availability is series-specific.
