Feeder and distribution protection
An MCCB frame size, trip-unit rating and fault-breaking capacity describe different things. Specify each separately. Four-pole options need a review of neutral switching and protection; a 4P label does not by itself describe how the neutral is protected.
Typical applications: Main and sub-distribution feeders, machinery supplies and larger electrical loads.

Coverage combines different series: ABB Tmax XT includes 16 A trip options; Schneider ComPacT NS includes 2500 A frames. Not every brand covers the full span. Breaking capacity varies with voltage and model.
Pole count describes the switching arrangement, not the complete protective function. Check which conductors are switched, which are protected and how the neutral is handled in the selected device.

No. The range describes selected catalogue families. NPE confirms the exact series, configuration, stock and lead time against your enquiry.
Can I substitute a four-pole device directly?
Not from pole count alone. Confirm the circuit duty, neutral arrangement, dimensions, terminals, control supply and relevant protective characteristics. Four-pole availability is series-specific.
