ABB
Miniature circuit breakers
Pole options by product series
Compare the protective function, rated current, trip curve and fault rating in the selected ABB series.
Manufacturer data & documents ↗COMPONENT FAMILIES / Isolation & protection
Specify final-circuit protection around the connected loads.

APPLICATION GUIDE
MCBs, RCCBs and RCBOs have different protective functions. Pole count and neutral arrangement must be read from the selected device documentation. Residual-current type and sensitivity are separate from the circuit current and short-circuit rating.
Typical applications: Distribution boards serving lighting, socket circuits and equipment.
SELECTION AT A GLANCE
MCB · RCCB · RCBO
1P–4P by series
Options vary by series and application. Confirm the exact configuration and availability.
Pole count describes the switching arrangement, not the complete protective function. Check which conductors are switched, which are protected and how the neutral is handled in the selected device.
Compare the named series against your requirement. These are catalogue references; stock and lead times are confirmed on enquiry. Similar headline ratings do not establish an interchangeable replacement.

Send the following information so the family can be narrowed to a suitable series. For an existing installation, include the full device reference and clear photographs of the nameplate and connections.
Key selection checks: Circuit load; residual-current type; fault level.
Discuss miniature and residual circuit breakers ↗No. The range describes selected catalogue families. NPE confirms the exact series, configuration, stock and lead time against your enquiry.
Not from pole count alone. Confirm the circuit duty, neutral arrangement, dimensions, terminals, control supply and relevant protective characteristics. Four-pole availability is series-specific.
