Q: What is the difference between Backlit and Edge-lit LED panels?

Edge-lit panels are ultra-thin (9mm) with LEDs mounted on the sides firing through a light guide plate. Backlit panels (approx. 30mm depth) mount LEDs directly behind the diffuser, providing higher energy efficacy (up to 140 lm/W) and eliminating the risk of light guide yellowing over time.

Q: Can these panels be dimmed using a central Building Management System (BMS)?

Yes. We supply panels fitted with DALI-2 or 0-10V dimmable drivers that connect directly to your lighting control system for automated daylight harvesting and scheduling.

Featuring micro-prismatic diffusers achieving Unified Glare Rating UGR < 19, flicker-free external drivers, high colour rendering (CRI ≥ 85), and seamless extruded aluminium frames, our LED panels directly replace outdated fluorescent tube fittings in standard T-bar grid and plasterboard ceilings.
