Lithium batteries offer 3x the cycle life, can be recharged in 1 to 2 hours (compared to 8-10 hours for lead-acid), weigh 70% less, and operate reliably in high ambient temperatures without requiring constant air conditioning.

For every 10°C rise in continuous battery room temperature above 25°C, VRLA battery service life is cut in half. Keeping the battery room cooled to 20–23°C ensures you achieve the full 10-year design life.
