Maintenance

Planned maintenance keeps low voltage switchboards, protection devices, busbar connections, control wiring, metering and transfer systems working the way they were designed to.

Every visit is documented from evidence — photographs, readings, thermographic findings and defect severity — so engineering and finance can agree what to fix now.

What We Cover

  • Visual and thermographic inspection of incomers, busbars and outgoing ways
  • Torque verification on terminations, links and busbar joints
  • Protection device function checks and setting verification
  • Cleaning, tightening and re-labelling of control and power wiring

What You Receive

  • Maintenance report listing defect, severity, remedy and spares
  • Thermographic images with temperature deltas noted
  • Updated schedules and labelling where changes were found
  • Recommended interval for the next planned visit

Information To Get Started

Asset list or single line diagram of the boards to be covered
Criticality of each board and available shutdown windows
History of trips, alarms or previous maintenance reports
Site access, permit and PPE requirements
No maintenance record for the switchboard in the last 12 months
Insurance, ISO or audit requirement for planned electrical maintenance

Plan maintenance around equipment condition and operating priorities.

Information to send

  • Asset register and maintenance history
  • Recent trips and duty patterns
  • Isolation and access constraints

Scope to agree

  • Prioritised condition findings
  • Agreed maintenance tasks
  • Critical-spares schedule

What changes the selection?

Equipment duty, installation conditions, available fault current, control interfaces and expansion plans all affect the specification. Agree the required drawings, tests and handover records before placing an order.
